Kondor Ceramik

Ceramik is the new range of Kondor grinding discs with latest-generation ceramic abrasive. It is designed for those who spend the day with a grinder in hand and want a disc that bites into the metal from the first minute to the last.

The secret is in the grain

When a conventional abrasive wears, it becomes rounded and starts to rub: it heats the workpiece and cuts less and less. Ceramic grain has a microcrystalline structure: as it works, it fractures into tiny particles, continuously exposing new sharp edges. In practice, it sharpens itself.

What changes in the workshop

  • Consistent stock removal: the disc doesn’t “glaze”, it performs the same from start to finish.
  • Less heat on the workpiece: less discolouration and burning, especially on stainless steel.
  • Longer service life: fewer disc changes and less machine downtime.
  • Less fatigue: a disc that cuts well requires less pressure from the operator.

Where it performs best

Stainless steel, alloy steels and hard, tough materials, grinding of weld seams, heavy rough grinding on structural steelwork.

All diameters

Ceramik is available in Ø 115, 125, 150, 180 and 230 mm: from the small grinder for precision work to the large one for heavy rough grinding.

Made in Italy, with solar energy

Like all Kondor discs, Ceramik is made in Villar Dora (Turin) under our UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system and powered by our own photovoltaic plant. It complies with the EN 12413 safety standard.
