Flap discs

Flap discs were the first flexible abrasives developed in-house at Kondor. Nylon or fibreglass backing, double or single flap, flat version or, on request, conical.

Double flap

For professional and industrial use. Cloths in aluminium oxide, zirconia, mixed ceramic aluminium oxide and microcrystalline with additives. More and larger flaps than conventional discs, for longer life and higher performance.

Single flap

Traditional construction, in two lines for semi-professional and DIY use:

RED TECH LINE: red backing plate, aluminium oxide or zirconia cloth. The right balance between quality and price.
EKO LINE: black backing plate, aluminium oxide or zirconia cloth. The economy line.

Special flap discs

T45/C: high performance, 90 double zirconia flaps.
XL: reinforced fibreglass backing, 120 high-zirconia flaps concentrated on the outer diameter: high stock removal and less wasted cloth.
DSM-Z: 115 mm depressed centre reinforced disc with a ring of double zirconia flaps. Fast stock removal at about 45°, finishing at about 20°.

Single-flap construction. XL: excellent performance on stainless and other steels thanks to a large number of zirconia flaps distributed around the periphery; oversized backing.
